Food and Fitness Journal
Hundreds to thousands of people struggle with weight loss on a weekly and even daily basis. The right combination of exercising and eating right can be very confusing at times, especially if you don’t know what you are doing. There is also the issue of what exactly do you eat? How much do you eat, and when do you eat? Exercising can be as confusing. So what can you do to help with this process? My first suggestion is to have a physical and get your body checked out by a physician, chiropractor or physical therapist. This will give you a good base and help you to set goals that will be attainable. Your next step is to go to your local Walmart, Walgreens or CVS and pick up a notebook. The notebook is going to be your lifeline on showing you exactly what you are doing and what you need to either continue or stop doing.
Journaling not only your exercise routines but especially your eating habits can help to make your goals a success. Tracking what you eat will help you recognize why you eat the foods you do. And a food journal will provide a means to analyze the nutrient content of your diet. You might want to keep a fitness journal too: It’s a great way to follow your progress, give yourself positive feedback, and maintain focus on your goals.
